SAFE SCOOTER, NEW APP MADE WITH BRAVO

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi there! I just published my new app, Safe Scooter made with Bravo. It's already available for Android and I hope it will be on iOS soon.

Have you ever had an accident with an electric scooter? Safe Scooter tries to locate the most dangerous spots for the circulation of these vehicles in cities and show them to the community. It is a collaborative app for users to point out which points they consider dangerous to warn other users.

In this way, thanks to users, Safe Scooter aims to build a community of scooter riders and other urban mobility vehicles. In the app there is a section that includes the main aspects of the regulations in force in Spain for scooter riders.

The app is designed in Figma and has a backend in Airtable. It has a native form that sends the data from the app to Airtable. In Airtable, we have two views: one that collects the data (and is not displayed) and another in which the data is verified to be displayed in the app.

The user can also locate the black spots around him by activating the location of his device. And, by connecting to the LocationIQ API, I tell him exactly where he is.

This is the first version of the app and we are already working on iterations for future versions. If you want to take a look at it, it is available in Play Store and very soon it will also be available in the Apple Store.

Greetings!

it would be even cooler to add a street view at the image level, allowing to see a 360° panorama of the places located on the public road

Shouldn't it be ready for both iOS and Android if you did it with bravo? I guess it's because of the developer license right? Or the approval?

Hi! It is a matter of approval. On iOS it is still in review period, but it is published on both platforms.

Hi! I'll keep it! Currently the image is set up to be navigable and zoomable, but there is a problem with the layout that the Bravo guys are trying to solve. Still, your 360° view idea seems very interesting to me for future versions. Thank you very much!

Good work, Juanjo! I was just searching here to find out how it is possible to create a newer and better iteration of an app. You say you are already designing a an improved version, is there any documentation here on the Bravo site? That would be helpful. Thanks and great app 👍🏻
