1 List and Multiple Detail Pages question

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi! 😁  I am pretty new to Bravo studio and would love advice from anyone who is willing.

I recently learned how to setup a List and Detail Page. I know that traditionally in Figma I would have one phone screen as the List Page, and a second screen as the Detail Page. Is there a way to have 1 screen as the List Page, but then depending on which image the user clicks on in the List Page, it takes them to 1 of 8 Detail pages/Figma screens?

For example, if on the List Page someone clicks the ā€œFruitsā€ icon, it would take them to a Detail page that includes a checklist on it, which would then populate with the details from the Fruit module. But if on the List page someone had instead clicked on the ā€œHealthy eating at Homeā€ icon, it would instead take them to a Detail Page where they can upload a photo.

I have started looking at Conditional Visibility, State Codes, and using Integromat (which is now called Make) to try and find a solve for this. Would you suggest using any of those to accomplish this goal, or something else? Is it even possible to do this in Bravo Studio?

Thanks in advance!
Joey

HiĀ ,Ā  Yes, you can have progressive lists --> click on a list item --> takes to another listĀ  --> click on list2 item --> and there is a smaller list3 and so on until you get a detail page.Ā  Just think of categories and categories within categories and groups within groups etc. before you get to a single detail page.
for example:Ā  list1 is a list of food types - click on Fruits -- list2 is a list of fruits - click on apples - list3 is a list of varieties of apples - click on MacIntosh apples and go to detail page on macs with description etc.

Hope this helps.Ā  Mary

Hi Mary Jane! Thank you for your reply. That makes sense how I would do a List > List > Detail Page. Do you know if there is a way to do a List > Detail > Detail page instead? The problem I am running into is that I want to go to a different Figma page depending on what List item is chosen. So if the user chooses "Fruits" it takes them to a Figma page that has check boxes on it. But if the user chose "Decluttering your home" from that same List page it takes them to a Figma page where they can upload photos instead.Ā

How would I create a decision tree like that? Some ideas I've tried exploring have been trying to create a List > Detail > Detail page. Or using Integromat. Is there a way to make one of these solutions work to go to alternate Figma pages depending on what List item the user chooses?Ā

Thank you!!
