✉️[action:email: ... ] to many recipients?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello 😃

Is it possible to send an email to a binded data and to someone else?
I'm thinking about something like:
[action:email:(binded_email;[[email removed]](mailto:[email removed]))]
or
[action:email:?cc=[[email removed]](mailto:[email removed]))]
inspired by
[mailto:[email removed]?cc=[email removed]](mailto:[email removed]?cc=[email removed])

In the same spirit what about adding an object to the email like:
[action:email:[[email removed]](mailto:[email removed])?subject=Mail from our App]

Thank you for your inputs

Hi #bravoteam, could you please share your experience on this one?
Is it possible? How could it be done?

Thank you very much
All the best

This is not possible inside of Bravo. I would recommend setting up an automatic forwarding system in your email provider

Thank you for jumping in!

But how would you do that? My email provider is not involved in here or am i missing something?

first idea: user sends it to an email coming from a database. I can't manage that part since he is using its own mail software.

second idea: Impossible to add another action on this button to "POST" something in my backend.

third idea: you suggest to send the email to me, and then i use a "make scenario" to route it toward the proper target.... If so I'm not into it - i want the user to reach the target directly.

-- My use case is like in a flat booking app:
User is interested in a house and reach directly the owner. The owner email is mentioned in the DB so I can have the action [action:email]. I just want to be aware when such an email is sent and to who.

Thank you for sharing anyway

I misunderstood your use case. You are right, your email provider does not know about the binded_email. Otherwise, my only idea would have been to use an automation tool too but I understand your concern regarding that.

If you are using airtable guess you canuse POST to triguer an automated action to send an email to a specific mail. I'm usingvthis to warning me about new data geting in by users. In you case would be a diferent logic but guess it could work.
