AirTable Updates

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Context: I changed my data structure in Airtable after it was imported and bonded.  Specifically, I added an extra column of data because my design changed.

Problem: In Bravo, on my Data Binding page I'm not seeing those updates to the Airtable Database.

  • Do I need to re-import my database to see the changes?
  • Hitting "update" on the data binding page doesn't seem to change things.

Hi Alex, I encountered the same thing yesterday when work on a project. I had to create a new GET request and reconnect it with the API documentation from Airtable in order for the new data to be updated.

Here's an example

Assuming the Ratings field was newly created in your Airtable database and it didn't reflect here here for binding, simply
For Post List
1. create a new GET request,
2. copy the 'Post List' url link from Airtable documentation
3. Paste the url in the new request
4. Type in the Authorization and API key
5. Click send

For Post Details
1. create a new GET request,
2. copy the 'Post Details' url link from Airtable documentation
3. Paste the url in the new request
4. Go to 'test value' and paste the .date.id value gotten from the Post List
5. Type in the Authorization and API key
6. Click send

Everything should work fine.

I hope you understand the procedure.
That was what I did.
I hope there's much simpler way for this to be done

That's great! thanks  !

+1 It would be great if there was an easier way. I would think the refresh button would handle this.

You don’t have to do that..
Just going to your existing API request and selecting the new field in both list and detail get call and it works perfectly.

I have a page with 80+ binded fields, image changing my data structure and having to reconnect each field every time 😂

Sorry I am new to Bravo.  Currently, my Get List and Detail requests don't pull back my new Airtable field.  I don't see how I add a new Airtable field on the API request page.  What am I missing?

Wrote something in this thread and want it removed? Request removal

Still stuck?
