Android double loading tabs

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi, I have been analysing the api requests from our app and have noticed alot of extra requests from Android devices on pages with tabs. Hopefully, this is something that can be fixed as it currently hammers our database. So when the page loads initially, all the tabs (3 tab pages with 2 API calls on each) are loaded on Android as opposed to just the active one on iOS, which would be ok if it just uses that loaded data when you switch tabs. But then, when you select a different tab it not only pulls new data once, but twice for some reason. Can this be looked into please?

@Alberto Manzano thanks. I have sent it through to the support email now too.

Yup. I raised this issue two weeks ago. They came back saying it was a problem with the refresh always accessToken (?) and that they fixed it but it clearly still exists.

@Laura Meng Thanks for commenting. I have just checked Bravo Vision and the devs seem to have fixed the double loading tabs part on there. I expect that i’ll need to publish a new version of my app. But in my mind that still leaves the “loading all the tabs“ issue as that’s 4 extra endpoints that get hit every time my homescreen loads. I shall enquire if that can be sorted too.
