API call on page load

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi,

I'm brand new to Bravo and much of the no code space. Might be dumb question but was wondering how I would go about displaying a search page that has a few previews of some of my products (as referenced from my backend database).

Specifically, I know I can make an API call to my list of product previews  using the tag [action:remote] on a button before this product preview page for example, but what if I want a few of these previews displayed automatically upon my "explore" page loading.

If possible I would want my "explore" page to be the first page a user sees (either after first signing up or returning as a logged in user and opening the app). Is there a way to be automatically fetching and displaying this data from my database upon my page loading?
