never used anything else than airtable. The initial decision was based on ease of use

Karla April 11, 2024

I think the question should be made differently.

Database: Airtable or Supabase. Logic: Comnoco

Valter April 11, 2024

Airtable 100% There was nothing i could not do on it!

Karla April 11, 2024

@Valter Guerreiro well, there are many things sadly we can't do with it, like better logic, field relationship, data management with several users

Andy April 11, 2024

We are using Airtable, but are concerned that you have to make the link public in order for Bravo to access the data. It has stopped us from storing user email address or private details on Airtable.

Karla April 11, 2024

@Andy Lewis they aren’t public, if you do t give the API Key you can’t get to that data.

Jaime April 12, 2024

Started using Airtable but quickly ran into many limitations (not being able to customize the APIs, or the functions used by it). While Xano doesn’t have the UI experience of Airtable, it far exceeds any expectations and gives me the flexibility I need for my applications.

Valter April 12, 2024

@Karla Fernandes | design & no-code i admit that its not easy but my app its preaty complex and the only thing i could not do till now it a like button on a list page. I have it on the detail page. I have several lists (due to do, done, liked, sugested by user) and all share just one and the same detail page. I have several rankings. Users are limited regarding their status on the app. On the admin section i can control everyting, I have statistis, alerts that indicate if any information it duplicated… and much more. All done with bravo solo and airtable team.

Karla April 12, 2024

@Valter Guerreiro I did a tutorial on how to do the like button with Airtable + Comnoco with @Stuart Malt a short time ago, did you see? https://youtu.be/rwzZvAyj-i0?si=RmOIbU8qyahXFOsw I know you can go far with Airtable, and 90% of my products are there too :) but there are limitations 😅

Valter April 12, 2024

@Karla Fernandes | design & no-code yes i saw the video 👏👏 But i dont whant no more third parties in the app! And yes there is limitations, but the simplicity of it, compensate the limitations 😁

Andy April 12, 2024

@Karla Fernandes | design & no-code If you found the link to my Airtable, you could see everything. Because you have to paste a ‘public link’ in Bravo in order to connect it via the API wizard. So a public link exists.

Karla April 15, 2024

And how would I go to find it @Andy Lewis that's my point :/
