I'm developing a mobile app that helps users find medical doctors. Here's how it will work:
Easy Navigation: The first screen displays a clear list of medical specialties (surgeons, physicians, etc.) with optional photos for better recognition.
Specialty Filtering: When a user clicks on a specific specialty, the app seamlessly filters and displays doctors who belong to that category on the second screen.
Doctor Details: Clicking on a doctor in the second screen takes the user to their detailed profile containing information like experience, education, and potentially contact details (depending on regulations and user privacy).
My Question: Building an API for Filtering
To achieve this functionality, I need to design an API (Application Programming Interface) that allows the app to interact with a database of doctors. My question is:
- How can I structure the API to enable filtering doctors by specialty when a user selects one from the first screen?
I’m using Airtable as API
