Can I reference an input's value without storing it in an API?

For example, I have a text input that I want to grab its value and display it on the next screen (or, it could even be on the same screen). Is that possible?

Here's an idea... I submit the verse temporarily to a new row. And then on the next page I access that data. Then if they don't save it, I delete it.
