Can I use Intercom messenger in a Bravo app?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

We use Intercom (https://www.intercom.com/) for live chat with users, support articles, automated messages/e-mails based on user behaviour etc.

We have installed the Intercom messenger using code or Google Tag Manager for our apps and websites, but I haven't found a way to install it in a Bravo studio app.

Has anyone tried this before, or does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for the tip!

On regular implementation there would be an intercom chat bubble that shows on every page (like here: https://www.intercom.com/). When you click on it a chat opens in front of the app/website content. I haven't found a way of opening the chat alone in a browser window, so I'm not sure if a web view tag would work 🤔

I'll test a web view tag that shows our support page in the app. The chat should be available there, at least it is in a normal browser window, so maybe that could work. Curious to see if the page will be able to detect which user is logged in 😄

Hi  and , I don't see how the webview allows you to integrate a Google Tag Manager. Can you help ? 🙂
