Can't POST a record to Airtable

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

I did all the setup but can’t create a new record on to my table, can someone help?
I want to Push ‘Job Name’, ‘Quantity’ and ‘Discount’ from a form and retrieve ‘Price’ and ‘Total Price’ (If given Discount).

You are missing a $ sign before “Discount”.

Also, it looks like Discount is a number and not a string, so you may need to remove the quotation marks around that variable. Hope it helps!

@Jaime Alcantara Thanks for the quick reply but still not able to get it work (Not getting the test values section also)

Huzefa, you are still missing the $ sign in the Discount variable and it seems you are missing some brackets. Try with the following JSON body:

{
  "records": [
    {
       "fields": {
         "Job Name": "${Job Name}",
         "Quantity": "${Quantity}",
         "Discount": ${Discount}
       }
    }
  ]
}

@Huzefa Mithaiwala Hello, Can you share your Airtable to help you solve the problem while also checking the JSON?
