Cognito user pool integration requires double login

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello, I'm rather new to Bravo but found this documentation on how to connect our Bravo App to AWS Cognito:

https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials?project=leav-335017

The result works somewhat. If a user enters her email and password in our app, then she lands on the AWS login page and is asked to enter her email and password again. If she does that, then the login succeeds and the app works as it should. Now, this double login is frustrating for our users, so we tried to figure out how to fix that. Unfortunately, I don't even have a good starting idea on how to fix this one.

Has someone experienced something similar or has any idea on what we can do so that after the login in our Bravo App the users gets directly logged in (without any redirects)?

Here is also the Figma file from our login page:

Hi ! Yes, with OAuth2 there's a redirection to the third party service, so the users can authenticate with it.

In the Bravo app, the most usual thing to do is having a button that triggers the OAuth login action, something like "Login with AWS Cognito" in this case, with the appropriate tag.
