Conditional Visibility w/ Bubble API

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

The app consists of users who are under certain teams. I want to be able to only show content based on the current user's team, like for example, User is under the team Apple, and I want him to just see content that is exclusive to Apple. Like lets say team members?

I use bubble's backend workflow via API to log and authenticate the user

Conditional visibility works for hiding UI elements based on boolean (true/false) variables returned by the backend, so in this case you can't use this feature.
Instead, you'll want to leverage Bubble backend to return the filtered content based on the user's team.

I don't have much experience on Bubble's API, but basically you need to add this logic to it. The endpoint needs to check the user object, get the team id and filter results based on that parameter.

By endpoint, I'm assuming that you are referring to Bubble?

yes, the Bubble's API endpoint that returns the content. An endpoint is url that can receive specific parameters and returns content. APIs usually have multiple endpoints. More info here: https://apipheny.io/api-endpoint/
