I would like to create a new row for each user in my airtable database when the user signs up. Right now I have the sign up working and attempted to add the api call using user.email and user.id. I'll include my figma setup and my API setup here. How should I rework this so that the row is successfully made?
Here's my button component:
Button/Primary [action:remote] [action:login:firebase-email-password]
Here's my API call.
POST url: https://api.airtable.com/v0/*********/userCollections
{
"records": [
"fields": {
"Name": "${user.email}",
"palette": "",
"user": "${user.id}"
}
]
}
I don't have any query parameters because I assume user.email and user.id are supposed to auto-populate? This all works when I have hardcoded field values but now that I am using ${user.email} and ${user.id} I can't get the test API call to work and it doesn't work from Bravo Vision.
I read in the docs that user.id and user.email should be auto-populated when the user signs in?
If I try to switch the action tags around on the button I am not able to set up an API call. I thought this might help since they will need to sign in first before the app can grab their user.id and user.email
