Create a store for physical products with Bravo and Stripe!

Hello everybody! 🙂

We published a step-by-step tutorial showing how to create a commerce app to sell physical products, using the one-time payment feature with Stripe, and binding the design to API data, so each product has its custom checkout screen.

Sell physical products with Bravo and StripeAs always, any feedback is more than welcome 👏

Cheers!

That’s amazing!!! 🥰 are Apple Store and Google Play ok with payments outside? I would say that this would work for android for sure. But is there any app published at Apple Store that uses this?

Hi Karla! It will work on Apple Store as well, as long as physical goods are sold. Digital goods need to be sold via the in-app purchase, which we didn't implement yet.

This is working...Thanks Javier...But how can we implement a cart page? There is a tutorial perhaps?

Hi ,

Our Stripe Payment functionality only accepts one-time payments at the moment, so creating carts and checkout for all products wouldn't be possible for now. You could enable the user to create a list of "saved products", similar to a wishlist, this tutorial might be helpful (we used Xano there, but the same could be achieved with other backend tools).

Cheers!

Thanks Javier! I think that a cart page could be another important thing to add to the ToDo list(Feature request)...
See you!

Yes...I've found a solution, with almost everything I need: customers table, orders table, product table, cart table...is a lit bit difficult to reach, but with the last version of Bravo you can have more API request per page...so is possible to have everything...I was inspirated by this article https://forum.adalo.com/t/summing-up-an-airtable-field/5982/12 but there was a limitation: it was possible to have only one API request per page...but now whit Bravo Studio 3.0 the problem is solved and you can have everything...Let me know if you need some more informations...
