DELETE last checkbox in Airtable

actually my app requires the user to regist certein info. the info is a number that is umbitted through a form and also to click a checkbox named “fall“ to confirm if the athlete has had a fall or not. if it doesn´t click the database won´t add a tick to the checkbox but if clicked, ive created a POST request that creates a new record only with the checkbox active, however what if, the user has clicked the button by error and want to go back. due to the remote action the POST request uses, the record has already been created, should I create a DELETE request that deletes the complete cell or a PATCH request to deactivate it.

PROBLEMS WITH PATCH/DELETE REQUEST:

as far as ive read, the patch request needs the id of the record is going to change, however i need only to change/delete the las record created. due to this record is variable I can´t provide a specific id to bravo unless bravo is able to sort until the last created record
