Display username and picture on a post

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi all,

I am building an app that allows users to post in a feed (similar to instagram). I have set up an authentication form linked to firebase and everything is working great.

I can create posts, comment on each post and search without a worry.

However I was wondering if there was a way for each post to display the username of the user that created the post as well as its profile picture?

Thanks in advance!

It is all about logic in your backend and on the POST request sending the user.id to make the conection with the user table/row and pull all the information that you need.

I see, and would you have an actual example to see how to set up my logic in my backend + the POST request? That would really help!

any case its a diferent case. In yours it would give me less work to build it for you then explain.
