Does Bravo requests have timeout?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

So, one of the endpoints has a relatively slow response, with 5 to 7 seconds on average. This is a thirty-party API so there is nothing I can do to improve this response time. Bravo responds with an unknown error in this specific endpoint. The others are quicker and working fine for this collection. Can anyone help me to get some info from the bravo team on how to debug it and if this error may have a relation to the slow response?

, I just came from Adalo and the native felling of modals and navigation is great, so, i will really appreciate if anyone could help me to stay. This endpoint is crucial to the app I am trying to migrate.

Hi Bruno,
if this is a third-party API, there is nothing you could do about the response time, unfortunately. Especially, seeing that the response time is long even in other tools like Postman is an indicator that it's not a Bravo issue.
Regarding the error in Bravo:
Next to the "received data" tab in your screenshot, you can find "debug" which has more information. If that information doesn't help you, send a screenshot again :)

Hey

Thanks for your answer.
So, I understand that, but even though the request is taking a bit longer, Bravo should wait for the response to come instead of crash.
This endpoint is in production on Native Apps created with Adalo and external collections and one web app made with bubble. It's working fine, with an extended 5 seconds response, but it works. So, I believe this may be a bug in Bravo, and the only reason I see to be triggering this reaction is the long time to answer. That's why I asked if Bravo has a time out and, if so, is it less than 10 seconds?

Here is the screenshot of debugging tag; it's a bug. Otherwise, I should see the debug report.

I will send you now the request URL and Bearer token (4 hours long) so you can try this request inside Bravo API Panel.

I didn't get a chance to test it but if the request is working everywhere else this might actually be a problem with Bravo so someone from the team would have to help you
