Duplicate records in Airtable from [action:submit] form POST

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hey,

I’m looking for some help with an odd issue I am experiencing with a POST request going to an Airtable database. Each time I run a single test in Bravo Vision I am getting multiple (duplicate) records created in the Airtable base…

I have been configuring my app to allow users to sign up (authenticate/email & password) using Firebase, with a [post-login:once] screen following that allows the user to add a bit more detail to their profile, such as photo, first and last name etc.

When this data is passed via a POST command to Airtable, I am also sending the {user.id} and {user.email}.

Once complete, I go to Airtable and find I have created 5-6 records all identical… Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening?

Thanks… 😁

UPDATE…. Worryingly, I am not sure how, but the issue appears to have gone away!
