Flickering on Android using [refresh:interval:1]

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021โ€“2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

I am using the tag [refresh:interval:1] to display changes in the app whenever there is a new value available through our API.

This works flawlessly on iOS (happens in the background unnoticed), but on Android you can see a flickering every time the refresh interval is triggered (see recording below). Ideally Android would behave the same as on iOS and update the API in the background without causing a flickering.

Is this a known issue?

@Marta Serrano do you have an idea of how we could solve this so that we can show the app on Android too?

@Jaime Alcantara Hello I'm facing the same issue, did you manage to find any solution?

@Paulo Purcino Yes, after updating the app, the flickering disappeared.
