Full fledged E-commerce (Need Tutorial From Bravo)

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

I plan to prepare an e-commerce app, where user can add to cart then proceed to checkout with discount coupons n other standard features. How can I minus quantity once product is purchased?

Bravo Studio still not full no-code app builder. You can build app but not complex app like e-commerce. I try to follow them but not really can build. I try to test Bravo Studio API connect with Woocommerce but look like not support. In bravo community still don't have who can help you because no one have experience as you too and Bravo team don't happy to help here in community. You need to purchase license.

Thanks for the reply, I was able to make the core screens of how users can browse and view product list and product details etc. so stuck now, hope they come up with e-commerce as this is the most demanded project.

Hey I really enjoy reading your idea. Bravo has a huge help center, read it up, check all tags, all the related files. You can build an e-commerce app with Stripe, or Shopify API in Bravo, I have seen in out there. Maybe you need to tweak your idea in order to have a work around on some your features. Try to think about your sequence of screens. Think of how they work with prototype. Start doing your app and once you get a blocker explain what you are trying to do, what you tried, what is going wrong. Sadly, nobody will ever stop to answer things that are so open. It is like the same if I would go to NASA and asked, I want to have a tutorial to fly this spaceship. Sorry for the analogy, but I hope that sticks with you. Like me, you are really able to figure many of the steps to start with the existent content. Here, I will be thrilled to support you and others that are stuck on points I already have been, and I know how to solve. Or even, challenges that may need me to study further to solve. But you need to start doing it :)

Hi, Firstly I have gone thru all the tutorials and study resources. You guys dont have a single article on preparing a proper e-commerce. Ok, how can I update stock count like if order is placed then (-1) and how can trigger different screens as per API ? Like if out of stock then show different screen or alert user if they try to add to cart? Adding web view over shopify if already available out there with much more features. I will continue interacting with people here and will clear their doubts from what I learnt in the past few days.

That’s great I am god you learned a bunch already. Still, so have no clear picture of your problem and what is keeping you from achieving it.
Many things like conditionals, aren’t into bravo, and what you will need it is either to use a more powerful database like Xano or create an script that does the logic and save it where your data is, as well as give you feedback by the success or error on the transaction. That may feel like a theory, but that’s what I am trying to tell you, there are always more than one to achieve the same results. You just have to find one that you can do, or that will work for you with some external help. If you are kind to do so, give us the example of what you are trying to do, what are you using, where are you stuck, like I mentioned before. Then, we can talk about possibilities instead of theoretical routes.

If I'm not wrong you are facing code to check this condition but meanwhile Bravo Studio is low-code platform I try to follow them too. I am new as you. In short, Bravo still don't allow you to write own function code yet or check if A fail than B. Everything in Bravo is base on Tag you can check here: https://bravostudio.notion.site/bravostudio/Bravo-Tags-Master-List-145bec845f0b4afaa9e3bb8321b218a8

Your idea is about E-Com as me and last night I meeting online with Bravo team they will study on this feature in the future but I don't know when. 😀

So what you can do is just try to check Bravo Tag and tweak your idea how tag can help you in current flow.

As I am not wrong Bravo concept is low-code platform like this: Design prototype by Figma or XD and add Bravo Tag to each elements than Bravo will convert that into any mobile component for you. Ex: If you want app bar you just draw it in Figma than just add tag from Bravo than all code Bravo take care for you.

Hope this concept help you with low-code platform.
