Getting Pictures AND Videos from Airtable

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi everyone!

I am currently attempting to get both pictures AND videos as attachements from airtable into my Bravo app via a single API request. However, it seems to me that Bravo only allows either pictures OR videos to be uploaded (e.g. videos via the [component:video:URL] autoplay option - with no way to mix in images as well).

Could anyone please help me with formulating a way to upload both types of files in the same API request?

2. On another note I have tried to implement the [component:video:URL] tag as well, using the sample URL in the Bravo supporting document, as well as a public URL from dropbox ending in .mp4 - nothing seems to be working. I have followed all the steps from the set up document but the videos do not load. Anyone know why this might be?

Thank you in advance for you help!

Hi Fernando,
as far as I know there is no tag that supports both images and videos. Maybe you could figure something out using conditional visibility. So hiding one or the other depending on the file type the API is serving.

Regarding your second question: The URL mentioned in the docs (https://google.com/test.mp4) is not a real one so there is no wonder that didn't work. I haven't tried it with dropbox yet but maybe you can try it with a random YouTube video to make sure your setup is working first.
Hope this helps 🙂
