Go to next detail

Hi,

I look Bravo Studio as alternative for Adalo.
I’ve PoC a application on Adalo and want to try BS.

One thing I don’t understand if it’s possible and how to do this :
« Create a next button that show data details for the next entry in data list. »

In Adalo i need to create a custom button that is in fact a data list with only one element (the next). With this when I click on this button, it’s like I’ve choose the next element in the full list.

Do we have something able to do what I need in BS or a workaround like in Adalo ?

Thanks

Thanks.
Can you explain a little more? As I’ve read doc about remote action, from my understanding it’s only to launch a api request.
I don’t understand how I can do what I want with this feature

so, with the api request you gather the data for the record you need on the other page.

Hi Karla,

Thanks. So I create a api request who retrieve only the next record. Bind this request to a button with Remote action and Configure a goto page on success to show the next entry.

It’s right ?

Is it possible to use the same detail page that show the next button as gotopage ?
So in this case I only need one page and button change data in.

Hello Are you trying to open a detail page from a list of items using API data?
Just to clarify and know if this Bravo Tip video will help you out about how to link pages using Figma (The example is with Airtable but is the same for all APIs) :

Hi Marta,

In fact it like a trip. We have a page (list) with list of categories. When we click on a category, we need to go to first location of this category (detail page). On this page we have need a link to go to the next location.

I look today this video : https://youtu.be/Kw6N1NIrjrI

I seems that it what i can do. In this video, user can click on a button that will send customer to next detail page. I will have only one button but it's the same in my understanding
I will try this. Thanks

Ok! Sure, try the workaround with the remote action and callbacks and the experience that Jonas is doing in the Video, to see if will work. Let us know if will be a good solution!🙌

I believe it would work with the same page, with you put a refresh always tag. I use this to each refresh on a press of a button to acquire data randomly, so, for sure you can also specify the record.

Hello  and Bravos!
Do you know how can this "Go to next detail page" remote action be done with Airtable?
Thank you!

dropping in here a few years on - but I am looking for help to solve this question as well, anybody can help ? Specifically with the API request, I am struggling to find how to call “next detail” is it through paging? Im using xano

@Eve Hansen open a new request and add more about your specific case, it is easier if you prep a little example file with example data print screens to support your request as well and make it easier for other to support you with possible solutions.
