"Go to page" push notifications opening in a modal

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

I've just been working through the documentation to create push notifications via OneSignal's API. I've successfully sent a notification, and on Android tapping the notification opens my destination page in the app as expected.

However on iOS the page opens in a modal over the top of the app. Is this expected behaviour?

i'm getting this as well and the modal doesn't have a clear way to close, which means the user cannot navigate to other parts of the app.

aka push notes get the user into app but straight into a dead end

Hello! Thank you for let us know the difference, we will check and try to see what we can unify! Please if you see any other difference between iOS and Android feel free to report it! We want to unify as much as possible, but at the same time keep the native common experience from each platform, so some differences will be intended.
