google api GET calendar event

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello guys

I am trying to GET Event google calendar into my app. But the google api doc said I need to log in my users with Oauth method to require a token. Do you know if I can GET google calendar, without use the Oauth method ? I would like to log my users with Firebase method.

Thanks you :)

Hi Clement,
how's it going? 🙂
I just checked out the docs myself and it seems like that is the only method. The issue is that a Firebase account is not linked to a Google account so you don't even know if the users are using google products like calendar but they need to give you specific access. I think your best guess would be writing to google themselves to make sure though.

Hey :)
So I did it with the Oauth2.0 method, and when i create the Auth account and set everything, I get an error. On my app, when I try to log in with google, this tell me "Error 401 Invalid_client" client was not found.
So i made research, and i think we need to create something on cloud google plateform.. Could you help me?

Thanks you guys
