How to calculate distance (in km) between user's location and a certain point.

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi!
I’m developing an app where users will be able to review and view the stock of local retails (similar to Yelp).
I’m struggling to understand how can I show the distance from the user’s location and a store; I was thinking about the Haversine formula, but since I’m using AirTable it’s difficult to have this kind of calculations made. I also tried using OSM (OpenStreetMap) API, but I can’t fathom how to extract a distance in meters from a result like this (it should be 211 Km):

"distance": 105538.780954416

Does any kind individual has any kind of amazing solution/alternative to my issue? :))

Thanks in advance!
