How to create a detail page when there is no ID ?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

I'm trying to create a detail page for a podcast episode but it seems the API don't returns any ID for each episode.

Is there any way to workaround if I don't have ID's ?

Any unique field on the table can serve as an ID wouldn’t I be right to say that the link you send it is just for episode 5?

DavidC August 31, 2021

Nope, it's for Podcast #5 then episodes are coming after.
Does it mean my unique field should be this one ?

Hi David,

As Karla said, you need some unique ID for each of your database records (in this case, the podcast episodes), so Bravo can do later the binding to the episode detail page. Do you have the chance to edit the data structure to add it?

Karla September 1, 2021

Maybe there is a way to have a direct link to the episodes list, that would fix it probably.

I'm afraid there is no chance as it's an XML transformation from a RSS feed made for iTunes, which has not id as well. No lucky !
