How to display every day on the main page, the page with the current date, from the database

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Okay, then please tell me one more thing. I want the page with the current date to open immediately when the application is launched. For example I have 100 pages created using a database connection. How can I display the page I need and change its contents automatically, every day when the date on the user's phone changes. Example: 07/20/21 a page from the database is shown on which this day is described. The next day, the page 21.07.21 with its content should be shown, and so on.

Perhaps there is a way to do this in the database?

Hi !

As you say, as long as the page structure is the same, you could just return different data from the database depending on the current day. The implementation for this would depend on the backend service you use.

We don't have visibility conditional at the moment, so you wouldn't be able to switch between different screens depending on the day. It would need to be the same screen, but changing the data you send.

Hello , Thank you very much for your answer! Perhaps this is what I need "As you say, as long as the page structure is the same, you could just return different data from the database depending on the current day. The implementation for this would depend on the backend service you use." I want to create 1 page templates in Figma and every new day output new information from the airtable database to it. I want to create a table in airtable, with rows for each day and output data from the row for the current day to the template.
Could you tell us in more detail how this can be implemented. I am unable to find information on how I can do this.
Thanks again for the answer!

On second thought... maybe its possible to have your "current page" always pull the item[0] and not have it iterate. Then in your Airtable have it automatically sort by date where item[0] is the newest page.
