How to retrieve firebase token Id

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi !

I have a custom backend, where I'd like to check user authentication uppon incoming requests from my bravo app (the user.id wouldn't be sufficent to authenticate the calls).

I've seen that we can access the {user.id} (https://www.bravostudio.app/post/whats-love-got-todo-with-it).
Isn't there another attribute like {user.tokenId} on the user object, so I can pass the token to all my API calls ?

It would be easy to retrieve it on your side with something like: https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/admin/verify-id-tokens#retrieve\_id\_tokens\_on\_clients

Hi !

We do have the option to send the user ID token, it's accesible on the variable ${user.access_token}.

Cheers!

Hi Javier,

Amazing, it's just what I needed ! (I couldn't find indication in the doc, maybe there is a more technical doc than in notion ?)
Thank you 🙏
