Nested lists

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi everyone, I am trying to make an app where I need some nested lists like the ones described in Bravo's tutorial here. However, when I follow the instructions of the tutorial, I don't manage to have the same results. When I arrive to the final step (obtaining the request of the cities for each region), I don't have access to the records of these cities, but I only have access to fields :

Does anyone know if something has changed in the way we have to request filtered data to Airtable or has an idea of how to fix this problem ?

Hi !

Did you select "All" in the selector to the right of the .data.records[] field, on the Received Data panel? It seems you're only selecting individual items of the list, instead of all the items that later populate to a list in the app.

Hi Javier...I have the same problem, but I'm not able to solve the situation...I've tried a lot of different solutions, but with no results...

I have a similar background: Categories instead of Regions and Products instead of Cities...I followed all the steps many times, and I'm able to see all the products or the categories with the app, but I'm not able to set the page with the filtered products because , in the final step I have a different after formula situation(like Hector) and I'm not able to change the Path Name(as you can see...) because there isn't the path...
Any suggestion?

Best regards and thanks!

Problem solved...There was an error in the filterByFormula string...everythings works fine now...

Hello!
Is it possible to have nested lists, in the same screen?

Let's say I want to list for every region, every city, on the same screen?

Imagin a subheading with the name of every region, and below each subheading every city belonging to that region.

Thank you!

Hello everyone,

I'm really struggling and would be glad to get some help.
In short : Either I'm stupid or too tired, but It's impossible to replicate the nested list example (world cities) with Airtable... While it works perfectly fine with Xano (I gave it a shot to see if I was the problem ...).
I must use Airtable for a project and I really can't manage to make it work.
In the Region Cities GET request, I never receive the .data.fields.region.
Anyone encountering the same problem ?

Here are the results of my GET request :

Hi Renaud, I'm using Airtable for a shopping App and I've followed the Xano instructions to create a page where I can choose products filtered by different categories...everything works fine. Can you be a little more specific?

Hi @Francisco did you ever get a solution to this? I’m very interested in this functionality!
