Reload page with API call

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

I have a page that will navigate to itself.

In figma it is not possible to make a page navigate back to itself.

Basically I want my app to klick on a category then navigate into that category.
But that category can have other categories in them.
So I want the app to allow for refreshing / reloading by calling an API that I already have.

Any suggestion on how to do this? or is this even possible?

Hey  ! 🙂

Yes, that's possible! Check this tutorial for the nested lists of categories you want to create and we also have several tags that you can add to your Figma file in order to refresh a screen connected to an external data.

Hey Marielle!
First of all, Im not using airtable, using my own backend server.
Looked at that tutorial before but from my point of view (and I might be wrong) I cant see how that would solve my issue.

Another similar example would be how you navigate on your computer when going into folders and then each folder can contain folders "infinitly".

My API has information about the parent "folder" and list of "folders" so the user can navigate back and forth.

Dont think I can use refresh since I need to connect it to an action and pass an ID to the URL when you press a card.

I did a workaround.
I duplicated my screen in Figma. Then pointed them back and forth to each other.
So we can navigate "infinitly" between these two duplicated screens
