See API error details when using remote actions.

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello, I have a remote action hooked up to a PATCH request. The request works and successfully edits data in Airtable. However, since today (after days of working well, without touching Bravo at all) the remote action suddenly always ends up at the error state, even though it still successfully alters data in Airtable.

Is there any way to output some more details about the error, for example into the error modal? I have no idea how to debug it otherwise. I made no changes, it broke on its own sometime between Saturday and today. Was there any update to Bravo, that might have broken it?

Thank you for your help,
Matouš

Hey ,

Coming from web (where we have tools like Inspect) I'm also feeling a little bit helpless when it comes to errors from the Bravo Vision/Bravo-created apps.

Because of that, I've just posted a feature request here that could help us a bit. I know this is not an answer to Your question but maybe that's something You would also be interested in or you could add something to that request.

Also, I've noticed that POST requests now seem to be much slower than before. I am waiting for almost 2 seconds after I press the button, before the loading screen appears.

Hello, this was a temporary issue that should be fixed now. Sorry for that! If you're still experiencing it, please send us an email to support@bravostudio.app with your project details. Thank you!

Thank you, I confirm that everything works now.

I still feel like the POST and PATCH requests take considerably longer to process than they used to, though. The first GET request gets processed right away and immediately after I tap "view all" hair tips, I get the loading screen. But when I tap "create an order" (POST request) or "all hair" (PATCH request) in the next step, I wait up to 3 seconds before the loading screen appears, even though the data changes in Airtable pretty much instantly after I tap the button.
