Set Dynamic Options in a selection Field based off user data.

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Curious if there is a way to do this with the native form fields.

So, set the options in the drop-down to be the ids of items created by users which would be specific to their instance.

In another post a couple of people said it should be possible, but were not able to provide any instructions.

Currently what I'm doing is kinda a workaround creating a modal that pops up with the items pre-populated,  I then set a state on them which triggers an event to add the selected item to the product in question which closes the modal.

I feel like this is not the best way to do this (maybe), but also it will not work if I want to use a traditional form field.

Any videos, instructions, tutorials, or suggestions where I could go to try and figure out how to do this?
