Updating API requests when making changes to Airtable base

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi all,

Working on a small Scores & Schedule app for a sports league. New to Bravo Studio but enjoying the process so far. I’ve created a collection in Bravo fetching data from an Airtable base. When I created the collection my base had a single table (Schedule). I’m now adding tables for Scores and Standings but that data is not displaying in my collection.

Do I need to create a new collection? This seems sub-optimal. Is there a way to update my existing request to include the new tables from Airtable?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

You can add new requests by copying the end point URL from airtable and adding it into your existing collection.

Thanks for the quick reply! I’ve tried that but it’s returning a single .data item without updating the tabs on the left to reflect changes in my base. Is there another step from this point or is this unexpected?

As far as I’m aware it won’t update Requests in the tab on the left if you’ve made new tables in airtable. You need to now bring each table in manually using the End point URL.
This shows how to do it at 30 seconds in.
It’s for a POST request but similar to a GET request.

You can also just make another collection using the API Airtable wizard and use both in your project if you have a lot of new databases that you don’t want to add manually.

Thanks again for your help on this. I’ve made a new GET request using the steps in the video you shared. Now I’m getting an auth error:

I’ve updated my Collection Settings > Authentication with my Personal Access Token but still seeing the auth error.

Creating a new collection seems fine as well but would love to be able to figure this out since I’m sure it’s not the last time I’ll need to manage a request like this.

Ah I needed to use the API token not my Personal Access Token. Seems to be working now! Thanks again for all of your help
