Using Google’s ML Kit with Bravo Studio

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi guys! I’m wondering if any of you know if it’s possible to use Google’s ML Kit with Bravo?

I’m intending to start an AI application project and I’d like to use Google’s already made AI programs. It seems as though you need to add the code into your Xcode and use SWIFT.

Would that work? I recall that you can’t access the source code from Bravo, which is so sad. Does that also mean that you can’t add any code either?

I would use this kit: https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/vision/digital-ink-recognition/ios

Any suggestions on another way around this perhaps? (If you can’t add code in xcode).

(It would be amazing if there could be a future option to purchase the source code for a one time sum. I know it would mean that Bravo would loose recurring revenue, but perhaps charging for a typical building price could own up to it up?)

Cheers! / Noah

Hi , thanks for your post!

At the moment it's not possible to add external SDKs into Bravo. Our Data Library allows to connect any API to send and retrieve data via HTTP, but it's not possible to add external logic.

Depending on the API and the app case you're trying to build, you might be able to add that logic on the backend.

Cheers!
