AAB File much smaller than original Version (and crashing)

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hey everyone,

I've had a problem with getting much smaller AAB files when pushing new versions of my app. The original AAB file was around 34MBs and every subsequent AAB version has been around 21MBs. The original version was pretty stable, however the updated versions continue to crash. Is there a fix for this? Or is this a bug of some sort? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi , the size of the AAB depends on the features you are using. Regarding the crashes, please give us more info about them and we will take a look

Hi Ricky, we are always trying to reduce the AAB size, removing unused libraries, so don't worry about that. I'm more concerned about the crashes you mentioned. Please give us more info so we can investigate and fix if needed!

thanks for the video, I didn't know it was crashing right after opening the app...that's definitely on us, sorry about that. I will check what's going on.

Hey , I think the issue is fixed. You'll need to request a new build in Bravo Studio and update your app in Google Play. Let me know how it goes
