App rejected due to NFC usage?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello. My app has been rejected in the AppStore because I need to declare the usage of NFC.
I don´t knowingly use NFC and didn't activate it when creating my AppStore certificate. My app is already online in the Google PlayStore without any problems.
I did try out using the [require:location] tag but removed it a while ago.
Does anybody have an idea?

Hey  ,
we detected that in the iOS builds generated from 7th to 9th the March, some of the capabilities were wrong, specifically regarding the NFC tag, asking for a new build should fix the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi. Thank you for your answer. Do I just need to make a new build or do I also need new apple certificates as well? Furthermore do I need to adjust anything in my app?
Cheers 🙂

you just need to submit a new bundle request with the same certificates you used last time :)

Let us know if you run into any problems.
