Backend API to Bravo

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

After trying out some paid alternatives like Airtable, I'm currently using https://modx.com to build backend ready APIs the way I need for Bravo. If anyone is interested let me know.

So is modx for free? I need to do this:

  1.  Geofilter lists based on user's location
  2. In-app credits payment
  3. Ranking fed by users
  4. Firebase-like authentication and profile data support
  5. Push-Notifications based on actions

Can you do all this?

MODX is based on PHP if you know how to program you can have these features easily. Remembering that it is a backend framework and should be used in conjunction with Bravo.

okey  what about the pricing plan its for companies ?

Servers from $10/m(1gbM/1core/1TbT/25gb space + bakcups) (with MODX framework installed), this depends on the number of API requests you will have monthly, but for an average app it's enough. And it has the setup to build the API, in case you don't have knowledge in PHP.
