Forgot password?

I tried to set this up with Sendgrid but I ran into issues because the Snippet would open a webpage and for some reason (I forget) it would break in Bravo.

I ended up delaying the solution and just tell users to email us and we help them manually. Kinda a dumb solution until we reach critical mass.

But I forget if  figured this out?

Yeah I was thinking of doing the same as you (manually via email) but as you grow that would take a lot of time so a solution to it would be really good. And also, you want the user to be able to change password instantly and not wait for a mail..

Yep agree 100%.

But a year into Bravo quirks i'm choosing my battles ;) After 6+ months of being on the app stores we've only had 1 lost password email.

But please share if you get a solution!

I also remember I couldn't get the Sendgrid auto-reset to work. But there might be a solution in using Xano's "random password generator".

Theoretical solution:

1. Users clicks "I forget password"
2. Backend resets password on click [randomly generated]
3. Sendgrid sends them an email with the new password.
4. Optional - include a PATCH endpoint to let them pick a new password afterwards.

Hmmmm, yeah that could actually work. Good idea!

I'm using a password reset endpoint using Postman, knowing that the email is in the database. Again, the email was not found?? How can I solve this problem ؟؟
