iOS App Store Rejection

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

My app is planning to just be a map so I don’t know what to do. Can I just app maybe a login screen or do you think by adding my content to the product. What do you think I can do to be approved?

Guideline 4.2.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality

We noticed that your app only includes links, images, or content aggregated from the Internet with limited or no native iOS functionality. Although this content may be curated from the web specifically for your users, since it does not sufficiently differ from a mobile web browsing experience, it is not appropriate for the App Store.

Next Steps

We encourage you to review your app concept and work towards creating an app that offers customers an engaging and lasting experience that also meets the App Store’s high expectations for quality and functionality.

Hi Travis,

I’ve sent you an email but answering here as well. It seems you might need to incorporate additional content into your app.

Consider including a list of items on a screen, and perhaps creating a detail page for each item. This could enhance the overall content and user experience.

Before you submit, I'd suggest reviewing the App Store Review Guidelines to ensure you have addressed all necessary requirements.
