Notifications before or after requesting IPA and AAB?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

So I'm a bit confused. For example. In the "Get the IPA" tutorial on bravo's help center it says that you should "Have any required setting enabled" and lists notifications as an example before getting the IPA. In the push notification tutorial however it says that you should have "An App created on the Apple Developer Account" before getting the certificates to use push notifications with OneSignal. So which way is it? Do I get the OneSignal p12 certificate, Firebase server key and sender ID and save it before or after I request the IPA and AAB? Please help!

Having an app created in the stores is different from uploading a build (ipa/apk), the steps should be create the apps with all the certificates involved and in the last step create the ipa/apk and upload it to the stores.

Hope it helps to clarify.

So I get the OneSignal p12 certificate, Firebase server key and sender ID and save it in the notifications integrations tab in bravo and then after that I request the IPA and AAB which I later upload to the stores?

Wrote something in this thread and want it removed? Request removal
