Created and published an iOS app, and downloaded the app via TestFlight on an iPhone.
Updated the app via Figma/Bravo, but did not publish the updates; began testing the updates with Bravo Vision. Noticed later that the TestFlight downloaded app had the latest unpublished updates.
Deleted the TestFlight downloaded app, stopped Bravo Vision, re-installed the app via TestFlight, and opened the app. After some time the app began showing the latest unpublished changes.
What is going on here, and what is the best way to prevent this behavior?

Get the Bravissimo plan and that will not happen. Is all other plans the updates are immediately shown.
