Android doesn’t render text correctly

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hey everyone,

My app looks perfect with the font size on iOS (have checked on 2 different screen sizes and it’s flawless.

But on android it seems like it renders the text way smaller than it’s supposed to be. I tested it on a quite big screen on an android phone but it looks super tiny.

Anyone that can help out with this? The attached screenshots are showing the correct view on iOS with the correct font size and the second the smaller rendered font size on android

Hello  !
Usually there are some difference between Figma, iOS and Android, depending on the page Frame do you use to design, and screen size percentage of the device (Android have a big range of screen sizes)

Could you share the device are you using and with frame are you using to design in Figma?
Thank you

I'm designing for iphone14 (390x844px) and testing on a Motorola Moto E32s (720 x 1600 pixels)

Additionally, Like any other issue & topic, we need the main information such as:

  • Bravo project URL (APP ID)
  • The font you are using
  • Steps to find this page

PD: All the points should be always part of reporting an issue.
Thank you!
