Oauth2- Logging into Facebook from an embedded browser is disabled

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello!

I'm following this tutorial Oauth2 Authentication and everything works great on IOS, and on Android too... except Facebook. As soon as I click "Log in with facebook" it shows up an error message as it is shown below, and even in English which is a huge friction to my users. Reading on Internet, It seems that it depends on the setup of each device, and each user should go to their account and enable this. Am I correct? Is this behavior common? How can I avoid it?

Hello  Did you try what the message is mention you to do? Downloading the facebook app?

Hello Marta. I did and it worked. But the question is, will this be asked to every user? For sure this is not your scope but wondering if someone came across to the same issue and avoid it somehow.
