Bravo Tags on External SVG elements

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

How would I add Bravo Tags to an individual SVG element like a <path>? For example [action:goback] or [action:openvideo].

Can the SVG be in a Webview? In the HTML or linked to the HTML, or.. in Studio directly as a component.  thanks

Hey just import the SVG icon or shape in figma and add bravo tag

Perhaps I phrased the question incorrectly...
Can the SVG be an *external* asset, such as in a webview / html?

If I was authoring just the SVG (no bravo) to be included into a bravo webview, then what code would I put on the particular path? (The SVG would not "inside" the Bravo app, but instead as an SVG linked in the HTML page as a webview that's read by Bravo.)

When the SVG is inside a webview it can't be used like a SVG in Figma. So you you wouldn't be able to add Bravo tags to it if that is what you are looking for

OK - understood.  Thank you.

Is there another way to allow webview content (HTML pages, SVG, JS etc..) interact with the Bravo App?

I have a situation where the user will (pinch) zoom in and out of an SVG and the concept was that clicking on parts of the SVG would allow the user to navigate to other parts of the app - such as back to the main page and creating a bookmark.

So you need the webview only for zoom and pan? An SVG directly in the app wouldn't be enough? In that case I don't see how you would be able to add that element/interactivity dynamically, sorry

Yes, the webview was specifically for the zoom and pan function. Wish that would be on the roadmap at some point 😃

The same feature for images has been requested before. Unfortunately, it will never be possible to use Bravo tags inside of a webview. They are two independent systems
