Hide Header and/or Footer in Wordpress

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi together,

I've created an app for my webapp.
I use a simple [container] with an rectangle in it and the rectangle use [component:web-view:https://sample.com\]

The webapp is a wordpress site. So now I want to know if there is a way to deactivate the header and the footer of my webapp (typical navigation and footer) in the bravo studio app.

Thanks
PB :)

Is it your site, Poolboy?  Because I imagine a problem would be that if the way Wordpress handles headers and footers changes in an update, it would never be Bravo's priority to get it to work - other stuff is likely to get prioritised.

Similarly, different designers of the templates handle them differently, and I really could see a design change messing it up.

What you could do is make specific pages you design to work with that webview element - perhaps pages you can hide from search engines, but are direct links to your webview?

You'd have more control over it then, and I imagine it would be less likely to break.  🙂
