Home screen loading first and login page show up if needed?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi,

How do I designate a specific home screen to show up first every time?

And then the login screen to only show up if the user tries to open a particular page (“profile” page)?

As soon as I add login page tags it will always appear first. I could add [intro:always] to the home page to get it to show first, but then how do I trigger the log in page to appear if they try to open the “profile” page and aren’t already logged in?

I did ask the Bravo AI tool and it said it was possible but linked me to articles that didn’t mention how to do it.

Thanks so much,

Sammy

Hey @Sammy Purcell,

If you've configured the login page, it is expected for it to appear before the home page and if you've implemented an intro page, it will always be displayed before the login page.

In short: Intro page > Login page > Home page

Could you provide more details about the type of login you're setting up? If you're using Firebase, consider incorporating anonymous login if your goal is to allow users to access your app without logging in.

Note that by adding the Anonymous login, this won’t show your Home page screen first after opening the app but you’ll allow users to access the app without signing in by clicking a “continue as guest“ button.

If your main aim is to take the user directly to the Home page, removing Intro and Login is the solution.

Thanks so much Marielle.

I’m using Xano as a login type.

So I’ll avoid using a login page tag. (I get “Missing login page” warning but I can just ignore this is there are not actual repercussions).

How do I show the login page when trying to access the user section of the app? Is there a way to force the log in page to show up at a certain point if there is no authToken?

Thanks

Is this possible? I don’t want to force users to a log in page first. I want home screen first.
Then if they try to access pages that need authID it will open the login page. Then once they log in it will continue to the authID pages
