Layer tags on long screens

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Every time I have a long screen and I put an element in a container with a layer tag, the element is vertically compressed. Is there something else I can do to make an element "stick"?

Verify the constraints of your element in Figma (or the parent)

what should the constraints in figma be set to? currently, mine are set to "top"  and "left". the elements I want in a layer are buttons that should remain fixed at the bottom of the screen. Should I change the constraints then to "bottom" and "right"?

the change is proportional to the height of the page with the [layer] tag on it for example if its 6,000 = height and your prototype is 844 the ratio is 7.109 and the height will be divided by 7.109 and the y Axis will be as we as well so position you new points by multiplying it by that number it might look weird in Sigma but will work in bravo
Cheers!

This work-around/hack method has worked for me. It does vary by device and screen size (meaning the buttons move alittle) but it means you can actually use the [layer] tag. Thank you so much for posting your solution!
