Maps Links to Apple Maps on iOS and Google Maps on Android

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hello together,
I want to implement a link to a location in my app. I already build a map but want to provide the option to click on a link to the default Maps app to get navigation. So in the best case this link would link directly to the Apple Maps App on iOS and to Google Maps on Android. Is this possible?

You could bind a google maps link and if the user has it installed the app will ask the user to open it automatically

Could you explain how to bind it? I have an airtable list of latitude and longitude. The only way I can think of to link google maps to my app is by inputting action:openurl: google maps website on figma - which does not work because that only links 1 location and I have a list of locations.

Unfortunately, that is what I meant. You would have to add the respective google maps link to every record in your DB. And then bind the link of each to the openurl tag
