It looks like we can only use one tag at a time. Is there a way around this so that when my users enable notifications in the app they can then be taken to the next step of the process?

Hi !
We have a remote action tag [action:remote] that you could add to that button. This will allow you to trigger an API request as an action.
And you can also make use of conditional actions to create different navigation flows depending on certain conditions, creating form validations, etc.
